Education and Experience

I am a New Jersey Licensed Clinical Social Worker (License #44SC05675900) I completed my undergraduate education at Ramapo College, where I received my Bachelor of Social Work (BSW). I went on to obtain my graduate education at New York University (NYU), where I received my Master of Social Work (MSW) and completed my graduate clinical internship within the adult partial-care/outpatient psychiatric unit at Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth, NJ.

My counseling experience includes conducting both individual and group psychotherapy in hospital settings, as well as in agency and private settings; on all levels of care, including inpatient, partial-care, intensive outpatient (IOP) and outpatient. I have worked with many varying populations; from all demographic groups, and have experience assisting people with a wide variety of challenges, including but not limited to depression and other related mood issues; social/generalized anxiety, panic; OCD and other anxiety-based issues; schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder; coping with the effects of abuse or bullying; and life adjustment issues such as grief, divorce, illness and unemployment. I also have advanced training and experience in the treatment of psychological trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Please note that I currently only treat adults over 18. However, beyond this minimum age requirement, I welcome clients of all backgrounds!
